Dr. Anita Lyons, originally from Chipley, Florida, has cultivated an impressive career marked by dedication to education and service. Growing up in a diverse environment that spanned Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Germany, she developed a rich cultural perspective that informs her teaching and leadership style. Currently serving as the Chief of Education and Training at the Defense Health Agency, Dr. Lyons leverages her expertise to enhance training programs for military personnel and healthcare professionals.

With a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University, Dr. Lyons is passionate about fostering a growth mindset among her students and colleagues. Her commitment to lifelong learning and personal development is evident in her innovative approaches to education. Prior to her current role, she proudly served 24 years in the United States Air Force, where she honed her leadership skills and gained invaluable experience in training and education.
