Future Link’s Career Preparation program is a structured process that will help you prepare for and reach your career goals. Successful participation requires commitment, communication, and accountability.
Here’s what to expect:
- After you submit this form, a Future Link team member will contact you by email to schedule an initial meeting.
- During that initial meeting, we will discuss your goals, your interest in internships or employment, and your readiness to work with a Future Link Career Coach.
- If you are able and ready to commit, we will match you with a Career Coach.
- If this is your first time working with a Career Coach, you can expect to complete a structured process that typically takes about 12–16 weeks. During that time, you will develop and strengthen the foundational tools you need for an internship or job search: your professional story, resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letters, interview skills, and internship or job search strategy.
- If you have worked with a Career Coach before, the structure and timing of the process will be tailored to your current needs.
Throughout the process, you will be required to practice the professionalism that employers will expect from you in the workplace.
Future Link’s role is to guide and strengthen your efforts, not replace them. Completing this form does not guarantee an internship or job placement.
The effort you put into working with a Career Coach will help you prepare for the opportunities ahead. We look forward to working with you!
