Sherri Hillie

Founder and Executive Coach, Change Insight LLC
Sherri Hillie is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of experience driving enterprise change, employee engagement, and leadership development across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as Senior Director of Business Readiness and Change Management at Sodexo, a global services company with 412,000 employees serving 100 million consumers daily across 56 countries.
In this role, Sherri leads global change strategy and business readiness efforts, ensuring successful adoption of people, process, and technology transformations. Her work spans complex HR technology implementations, cultural change initiatives, and leadership alignment across diverse operational environments.
Sherri is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Change Insight LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting practice that partners with organizations to build resilient, high-impact leaders and navigate change with clarity and confidence. Her dual perspective—as both an internal change leader and external advisor—gives her unique insight into the challenges facing organizations today.
Sherri joined the Future Link Board after serving as a Mentor since January 2021, where she has guided first-generation college students toward personal and professional success. She is deeply committed to creating pathways to opportunity through service and has previously supported CASA of Prince George’s County and the Boy Scouts of America.
Sherri holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University, and an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University.

Ashish Gandhi
SVP, Deputy Chief Technology Officer, Forbright Bank
Ashish Gandhi is an Information Technology enthusiast with extensive leadership experience and 25+ years of building teams of experts in running transparent, cost-conscious IT organizations. He attended the University of Florida and the University of Maryland, earning degrees in Food Science, Human Nutrition, and Management Information Systems.
Ashish specializes in creating secure, resilient, and manageable enterprise infrastructures. With expertise in several industries, Ashish has successfully transformed traditional banking application suites by implementing modern technology to support IT infrastructure. He has a proven track record of collaborating with business partners to simplify business methods and deliver measurable benefits.
Ashish and his wife, Sapna, own Sylvan Learning in Reston and Fairfax, a renowned educational institution that offers personalized learning. He is a father of three and has a passion for education. Ashish recognized the need for tailored academic support and built his center(s) into a beacon of educational excellence. Through innovative teaching methods, mentorship, and commitment to student success, Ashish has transformed countless lives and established himself as a trusted resource within the community. His professional experiences will translate well into helping Future Link’s students and the organization.

Karen Oppel
Founder and President, ArcherStanley Group, LLC
Karen is the Founder and President of ArcherStanley Group, LLC, a boutique accounting and finance search firm in the Washington, DC area. After six years of audit and financial reporting, she made a career shift to recruiting for accounting and finance roles. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive license) who spent the early part of her career at Ernst & Young’s New York City office as well as with a Fortune 500 insurance company based in Baltimore, MD.
Karen spent 20 years with a company ultimately known as Randstad Professionals before making the decision to start her own firm. ArcherStanley Group, LLC was founded on the simple premise of the Golden Rule: treat others as you want to be treated. Clear communication, constructive feedback, transparency, and respect for both people and corporate history are the foundation of the corporate ethos.
Karen lives in Washington, DC in a nearly 100-year-old house with a dog who thinks he’s a person, and she’s active in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Kelly Jennings
Owner, Quincy CFO
Ms. Jennings founded Quincy CFO in 2010 to provide accounting and CFO services to businesses local to the D.C. metro area. Prior to starting her own business, and after working for Arthur Andersen LLP, Ms. Jennings worked as a leader in accounting and finance for a privately held real estate consulting firm and a publicly traded biotech company. She has helped her clients work towards growth and sustainability by building sound financial reporting, process improvement and strength in infrastructure throughout the back office. Ms. Jennings is active in the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, serving as a member of multiple committees and the Board.

Marc Bastow, MS
Senior Editor, CFRA, Accounting Research & Analytics, LLC (retired)
After a successful 25-year career in corporate finance, commercial banking and equipment leasing, Marc Bastow turned his attention towards a long-held love: writing and editing. A three-year stint of writing, editing and managing a high school sports website led to an Associate Editor position at InvestorPlace Media. Today Marc is a Senior Editor at CFRA, editing financial stock reports, publishing a weekly newsletter for CFRA’s clients and managing a base of 51 Industry Surveys published twice per year.
Marc started with Future Link as a mock interviewer, helping students learn about interview skills and strategies, which are a key to the success of the Future Link program. Marc became a seminar Facilitator for two semesters, enjoying each one immensely. “The gratification that comes with helping these incredible students is what led me to want to stay as part of the Future Link team.”
Marc earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut, along with a Graduate Certificate of Business Management and a Master of Science in Finance from The American University. He resides in Rockville with his wife, Nancy, and lives close to his two children and four grandchildren.

Leigh Henry, JD
Managing Member, Henry Investment Partners (HIP), LLC
A founding member of Future Link, Ms. Henry is an attorney and the managing member of HIP Projects, LLC, an apartment management and hospitality firm. Ms. Henry also serves as the Chief Inspiration Officer for Barking Mad Café, located in Gaithersburg, MD. Since 1999, she has worked with her husband, Peter J. Henry, and a team of talented professionals to develop Spectrum Town Center, a multi-modal, smart-growth mixed-use development in Upcounty Montgomery County, MD. Ms. Henry earned her Juris Doctor degree from The Columbus School of Law (Catholic University).
Nasima Hossain, MHA, FACHE
Healthcare Executive, Children’s National Hospital (retired), Independent Consultant
Nasima A. Hossain is a board-certified Healthcare Executive with 30+ years of experience in ambulatory healthcare management and group practice leadership. She has served as the executive and operational leader of primary care services at Children’s National Hospital, leading financial management, strategic planning, and business development, expanding growth of primary care services, and improving access to healthcare in the District of Columbia and Maryland’s Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Charles Counties.
Currently Nasima serves as an independent Healthcare Consultant and has turned her focus on health equity and taking a public health approach to developing programs and solution-based platforms for managing and preventing chronic diseases. She is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Boston University.
Nasima is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from University of Maryland and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She joined Future Link as a Mentor in August 2021. She is very proud of the successes of her Mentee and looks forward to their continued growth and journey.
Jennifer Lopes
Certified Public Accountant, Deloitte
Jennifer Lopes is a Certified Public Accountant working for Deloitte’s Advisory practice in the defense sector. Prior to her current role, Jennifer has held roles at other Big 4 companies and consulting firms where she has developed over five years of audit and internal control experience. During this experience, she has been able to leverage her Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills to work with a diverse set of clientele. Jennifer obtained her Business A.A. from Montgomery College before obtaining her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Jennifer is a Future Link alumni and has experienced first-hand how valuable and impactful the program has been to the success in her career journey. As such, Jennifer has contributed to the program by participating in informational interviews, tutoring sessions, and financial literacy seminars.
In addition to her professional experience, Jennifer has a variety of interests including reading, golf, and real estate.
Janeé McFadden
Interim Associate Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, Montgomery College
Janeé McFadden is a seasoned higher education leader with more than 20 years of experience in student affairs, academic advising, and community engagement. She currently serves as Interim Associate Senior Vice President for Student Affairs at Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on student success and holistic support services for a diverse student body.
Throughout her career, Janeé has held leadership roles across multiple institutions, including Montgomery College, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Rhode Island. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas including behavioral intervention, student conduct, crisis response, policy development, grant compliance, and student engagement.
In addition to her leadership roles in higher education, Janeé has taught undergraduate courses in study skills, university orientation, and community service. She is certified in conflict mediation and as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator.
Janeé holds an M.S. in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island and a B.A. in English from Spelman College. Her enduring commitment to educational access and empowerment is reflected in her long-standing service to students and the community.
George Quinn, CPA
Founder & CEO, TBH Consulting
Mr. Quinn is the founder and CEO of TBH Consulting, which provides accounting and financial reporting advisory services to public and private companies. Prior to launching TBH Consulting, he spent more than 29 years in public accounting, including 18 years as a Partner. Most recently, he led Ernst & Young's (EY) Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice for the Northeast region. Before leading the FAAS practice, Mr. Quinn served as an audit partner at EY. Mr. Quinn has served on several boards in the past including the Aerospace Industries Association, the Northern Virginia Technology Council (Treasurer for two years) and The National Center for Children & Families (Treasurer for five years). He joined Future Link’s Board in 2017.
Max Shevitz
President, Learning Tree International (retired)
A veteran of the business world, Mr. Shevitz is retired after a 30-year career in the professional training and education field. Most recently, he served as President of Learning Tree International, a leading worldwide provider of technology training to large corporate and governmental organizations. Previously, Mr. Shevitz held corporate leadership positions as Executive in Residence, Education for Great Hill Partners, and CEO of UMUC Online. Mr. Shevitz has an MBA from the University of Virginia and has been a resident of Montgomery County since completing his studies in 1981.
Ken Weiner, PhD
Consultant, Assessment and Outcomes Measurement, Montgomery College (retired)
A founding board member of Future Link, Dr. Weiner served as President from 2011 to 2020. He is a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, who retired in 2008 after 37 years as a faculty member at Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus. He holds a PhD in mathematical statistics from the University of Maryland. During his tenure at Montgomery College, Dr. Weiner served as Department Chair, maintained a continuing role as a faculty research associate in the Office of Planning and Institutional Research and developed and implemented a college-wide outcomes assessment plan for the College’s academic programs. He was also Co-Founder and Co-Director of the College’s highly successful Biomedical Scholars Program. Since 2001, Dr. Weiner has provided training and individual consultation to more than 200 non-profit organizations in Montgomery County on how to measure the impact of their services. In 2003, he was presented with a National Role Model Mentor Award by Minority Access, Inc. and received an honorary degree from Montgomery College in 2016.
