Luann Gronhovd

Luann Gronhovd brings more than 20 years of experience in education, youth development, and social impact leadership to her role as Assistant Director, Career Services and Partnerships. Beginning her career in social work and education, Luann has long been guided by a commitment to helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence, and move toward meaningful educational and career opportunities.

Before joining Future Link, Luann served for 17 years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development, leading education and youth-focused initiatives in Liberia, Senegal, Rwanda, and Uzbekistan. Across these roles, she designed and managed programs that helped young people thrive by strengthening education systems, expanding youth workforce readiness, and building community and private sector partnerships. After many years living and working internationally, she is excited to bring her experience home to Montgomery County.

She holds a Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Spanish from Concordia College.
