Terri Holley began her career after earning a Master of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park. For two decades, she designed and led community-based wellness and prevention programs in hospitals, federal agencies, and military settings, earning multiple Navy and Marine Corps Gold Star Awards for Excellence in Health Promotion. Her early work grounded her in behavioral science and the power of communication to influence positive change.
In 2006, Terri transitioned her passion for communication into entrepreneurship, founding Holley Creative, a full-scale digital marketing agency. Over the past 20 years, she has partnered with executives, organizations, and brands to design data-driven digital marketing strategies. From leading high-performing marketing teams to managing cross-channel campaigns, she has built a reputation as a results-driven strategist and trusted advisor.
Today, Terri blends two decades of marketing expertise with her work as a UGC Creator and Creative Strategist. She has collaborated with more than 70 brands including AT&T, Booking.com, Arm & Hammer, RoC Skincare, and Cozy Earth across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and technology. Her unique perspective as both a creator and strategist allows her to bridge the gap between brands and audiences, delivering content that converts while staying authentic to the brand voice.
Beyond her client work, Terri is the moderator of the largest subreddit for UGC creators, which she scaled from 9,000 to more than 28,000 members in under a year. She is also the founder of The UGC Authority, a private community where she mentors UGC creators and helps them build sustainable, profitable businesses.
Originally from Washington, D.C., Terri spent her formative years in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is a proud graduate of Kennedy High School in Montgomery County. She currently resides in Spencerville, Maryland, with her husband. She has a Gen Z daughter who is completing Physician Assistant (PA) school at Drexel University.
